Bereavement & Loss Counselling

Ormskirk & Lancaster

"Grief is in two parts. The first is loss, the second is the remaking of life"

Anne Roiphe, Writer

Grief can throw your life off course, you have dealt with so many things in life before now. You ask yourself why you are not able to come to terms with your loss? Why you cannot see a light at the end of the tunnel?

Others expect you to be coping. Maybe on the surface you are coping but inside you know how much you are struggling....

Sometimes it feels safer to keep trying to work through this alone...

But holding onto so much grief can be exhausting and lead to further mood changes, loss of sleep, fatigue, trapped emotions, feeling numb, feeling lost and isolated.

I won't try to fix you, or tell you how to feel or think, but I can offer you a space away from external expectations and judgement to acknowledge what's really going on for you, how you are really feeling. Only once we do this, can we start to make sense of how we are feeling and the the pain can start to ease.
